MARY BONTRAGER – Executive Vice President - Workforce Development/Education for the Greater Des Moines Partnership
Bontrager currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Des Moines – Embassy Club, the Business Advisory Board for the Drake Chapter of Enactus, Central Iowa Workforce Investment Board, the Governor’s South Central Region STEM Advisory Board, State of Iowa’s Secondary Career and Technical Education Task Force, Education Attainment Division Advisory Council for ACCE, Central Campus Advisory Council and the Women’s Leadership Connection Events Committee. She is a 2008/09 alumni of Leadership Iowa and a graduate of Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute where she also served on the Board. Mary was a Sustaining Member of Junior League of Des Moines where she served as a board member, Community Vice-President and held a number of other leadership positions. She also served on the Boards of the Riverfront YMCA, Iowa Youth Chorus Board of Directors and the Drake Small Business Development Center. Bontrager is also a member of the Rotary Club of Des Moines and Plymouth Congregational Church. In 2001, she was named to the Des Moines Business Record’s “Women of Influence.”
