Sarah Jennings - AARP Regional Vice President – Central Region
Sarah Jennings is the Regional Vice President for AARP’s State & Community Engagement Central Region. She provides leadership, management and oversight of the Association's operations and activities in Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wisconsin. For the 10 years prior to that, Sarah served as the AARP State Director in her home state of South Dakota. Before coming to AARP, Sarah worked on Capitol Hill for 11 years; first as a Sr. Legislative Aide - on both the House and Senate sides – and then as Chief of Staff to U.S. Senator Mark Dayton.
Sarah attended Wellesley College where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Economics. Sarah lives in Sioux Falls and is married with two children who keep her on her toes.
